It's been a busy week here at The Animated Dragon! I hope you have been enjoying the new content, Instagram and Facebook pages. And a little dragon tells me that the Youtube channel should be going live any day now but shhh, it's a secret...
This week's toon is:
For the Birds (2000)
Run time: 3 minutes
Recommended tea time treat: Penguin
Well what else could it be! This chocolatey delight is a staple of the British biscuit industry. It's a chocolate cream filling, wedged between two chocolate biscuits covered in chocolate. Plus each biscuit comes with a cringe worthy joke on the back of the packet, what's not to love!
Biscuit rating: 5/10

For the Birds is my personal all time favourite Pixar short. It originally debuted in cinemas before each showing of Monsters Inc. This short follows a group of small birds who are fighting amongst themselves on an electricity wire. All of a sudden a much larger bird appears and tries to befriend the little critters. The wee birds are having none of this and tease the big bird because he is different. But big bird has the last laugh as the little birds horrendously miscalculate their ultimate attack.

This short is available on DVD as a part of the Pixar Short Films Collection 1 which is available to buy here.
Until the next time.
